Meal Reservation

Green travel. Enjoy the Cloud. Air China provides meal abandonment and meal selection services. You can reserve one option according to your own needs and preferences.

Service Rules:

1.Your flight must be a CA-coded flight operated by Air China with a ticket number starting with 999 for domestic flights (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) or the international/regional flights departing from within China.

2.For domestic flights (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) , reservations must be made 1–15 days before the flight's departure (e.g.:For a flight on August 16, reservations must be completed between 0:00 on August 1st and 23:59 on August 15th).

For international/regional flights , reservations must be made 2–15 days before the flight's departure (e.g.:For a flight on August 16, reservations must be completed between 0:00 on August 1st and 23:59 on August 14th).

3.To avoid food waste and promote green travel, we welcome you to experience meal reservation service as needed. If you choose meal abandonment option, Non PhoenixMiles members need to register as members before purchasing tickets, and bind the ticket purchase certificate information.If you successfully book a meal abandonment service and do not actually eat on board, you will receive miles reward.

4.Meal selection is offered as a free service, meals will be offered depends on the distance and duration of the flight. For applicable flights, please refer to the information displayed on the system for your particular flight when you make the service inquiry.

5.Each passenger can only make one meal reservation per flight.

Tips:

1.Only drinks will be served on the flight to passengers who have opted meal abandonment.

2.Mileage awards will be credited to the passenger's PhoenixMiles account within five working days after departure.

3.In case of flights being canceled or changed(Including voluntary and involuntary), the meal you have already booked may be canceled. If you have not already rebooked, or have been timed out, the in-flight meal served will be the actual catering provided.If you are unsuccessful in booking a meal abandonment service and temporarily abandon your meal on board, you will not be awarded meal abandonment miles.

4.Due to force majeure factors such as public safety,the in-flight meal provided may differ from the meal you selected.

5.For accurate delivery of in-flight meals, please take your seat according to your boarding pass seat number.

6.If your ticket is a standby ticket, you cannot book any in-flight meal service.

7.Free meal selection, meal abandonment, and special meal services are available. These services cannot be processed simultaneously; only one service can be booked at a time. If you have already booked the special meal service, you cannot also book the free meal selection or meal abandonment services simultaneously.
